Administrative Structure
Rukiga District is composed of 4 Sub Counties and 2 Town councils, 30 parishes/wards and 293 Villages. The District council head office had seventeen (17) elected councilors, the District Chairperson and Vice inclusive. . The Sub County/Town Council have their own LCIII councils headed by the LCIII chairperson as the political head and they also deliberate on issues affecting divisions and make bye laws if they are deemed necessary.
